Mary Jennings, the daughter of William Jennings II and Agnes thingyenson, married Oliver Jeter. On 22 February 1770, Oliver Jeter and Mary, his wife, sold 304 acres on the east side of Cold Water Run to his brother, Henry Jeter, for £70. This was land that had belonged to their father. On 14 May 1773, Oliver Jeter sold his brother-in-law thingyerson Jennings 100 acres in Amelia County for £110. The court did not record this deed. In 1782 Oliver was living in Amelia County and was head of a household of nine whites and five blacks. Oliver continued to live in Amelia County, Virginia, until after 1790 when he moved his family to Edgefield District, South Carolina. Mary and Oliver left South Carolina and moved to Lincoln County, Georgia, where they died.
